Nokia T7-00 previously had been forgotten for a while but now the photos and specs are leaking day by day making us more anxious to know about this Symbian^3 operated smartphone, where new live shots of the device have popped-up in China along with some specifications also. As Nokia T7-00 will be a vaguely trimmed-down edition of the Nokia N8 flagship reducing the 12 mega pixel camera, but keeping the hold of the lustrous aluminum unibody design. Judging by the leaked shots, the device looks like the miniature of Nokia N8. Below are the leaked specifications of the device:
- Camera: The camera of Nokia T7-00 has been cut down from 12 Mega Pixel of Nokia N8 to 8 Mega Pixel, and we are yet to see that whether the camera of T7-00 will be a fixed-focus one or not, hope it won’t be because that’s what Nokia did with the majority of their current smartphones.
- Display: The device equips a nHD display based on a resolution of 360×640 pixels (theoretically AMOLED display)
- Connectivity Options: It features a full range of connectivity options which include WLAN, GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB and 3G (TD-SCDMA on the pictured unit and UMTS with HSDPA on the global version). Sadly the HDMI port has too been removed.
- Processor: The processor ticking inside is said to be ARM 11 with a clock speed of 700MHz. There ought to be also a dedicated GPU with support for OpenGL 2.0 aboard.
What’s new and strange is that the sticker on the rear of the T7-00 states Nokia N-Series, this could possibly mean that the Nokia T7-00 will be allotted a new name (for example Nokia N7) and will become a family member of Nokia N-Series instead of starting a new series, or even this could have possibly happened that when the prototype was created at the lab at that time the stickers of T-Series weren’t available.
