Gmail Labs Introduces Background Send, Now Send an Email While Reading Other Mail Conversations

Gmail has sustained advancement this year with the launch of Smart Labels. Now a new and clever yet effective feature has been brought in by Gmail by which you can send emails in the background, with no need to block the user interface while sending it.
This feature is named “Background Send” and it does precisely the same thing what it has been named after. By using this feature, users now can click on send button in order to send an email and at the same time surf around their mailbox without a glitch or sending process interruption. As from now whenever you compose an email and click on Background Send, the sending process will take place in the background without interrupting you. Likewise, you can send multiple emails in subsequent without any of them being interrupted.
Yet, the feature requires your browser to be equipped with fast and fail proof JavaScript rendering, since the feature works in the background.
How to Enable Background Send in Gmail

To enable background send, click on the “Settings” link situated on the top right hand corner, then go to “Mail Settings” and then visit the “Labs” tab and there will be an option named “Background Send”. Click on the “Enable” radio and you are ready to go !
