APP OF THE DAY – Lucky Voice Karaoke (iPad / iPad 2

We are awaiting to see this Saturday’s final here at Newsflap towers. Number of things are expected to come, the thrill, the action, dodgy decisions, awkward haircuts and hilarious foreign accents. Yep, you must have figured it out yourself by now, it is Eurovision song contest again. Did you really think that we were hinting at Fa Cup’s final that is happening on 28th of May?
Anybody who has been to this Lucky Voice Karaoke bar would initially feel at home with this new iPad and iPad 2′s application from this company.
Instead making your way up to the bunch of admin assistants and this one account guy that you never remember inviting, your very own tones can be restricted to the comfort of your own abode, with some assistance by this new Lucky Voice Karaoke app, you can search over 8000 songs without any hassle. This app works like any ordinary karaoke, you will see words start glaring by the time you’ll play music. This is because, it will be running over an iPad and can be handed around from one singer to the another.

This application also uses a built-in Internet connection while running on your iPad, so it’ll be searching the songs you like itself and also, pluck songs from the cloud. I can guarantee that no music fan would dislike this app by any mean and there’s loads to make out of it. Obviously, there are still a number of songs that cannot be found over this application but majority of them are present and it’ll even search you the latest ones, if you’re intending to do it. This app also features backing singers but only where necessary.
The application is itself an easy shot and has been designed with simplicity. If you’ll pay some attention down at the left hand side, you will see a navigation bar, which is always listing pre-determined songs list and you can always customize your very own play list and place it on the main menu.
As a starter, you can click on to any play list and you will see all the songs (Suddenly) and all the artists who have collaborated in this play list would spew out in no time. Select one of them to make them a part of your music queue. It is going to be so easy for you if you have already been using the touchscreen controls in Lucky Voice private rooms. You will find the whole thing quite familiar.

A search option has also been placed right in front of you, so if you’re having any trouble while finding the song you want, simply, type in the name and within few seconds you will be presented with the search results. You can even use this search option with just a single word, for example ; if you’ve typed the word ‘Love’ then immediately you will be presented with suitable suggestions from this app itself.
If you’re using the built-in iPad speakers, the experience wouldn’t be in full swing or of professional nature as it would have been with a microphone in a bar itself. But still, you can take the pun out of this application and wraps you up in endless fun. If you’re having an iPad with yourself and as well as a Digital AV Adapter then why not take some advantage out of these things? Simply, connect it with your flat screen T.V that will give you an enhanced video quality out put with a bigger screen resolution. We aren’t quite sure if this app also supports the audio output but the developers have told us that in future, they will be throwing in an update for all Lucky Voice Karaoke fans and it’ll then be having all T.V outputs. So, all you have to do is wait for a while.
It would have felt a lot better if there had been a microphone support (here, I’m talking about the external mic ) to be use for vocal amplification. And we’ve got another good news for our fans that soon even this thing is going to be added in this application. Apart from that, features like synchronizing your own play list would also be added.
You’re not being charged for this Lucky Voice app and it’s free. Keep in mind that once you sign up, you will need to access 10 songs for free, where as, all the other 8000 songs that are present in this portal can be checked out but only for 30 seconds, not more than that. You can also buy song credits and the cost is around £3.99 to £49.99. You would get a real good experience of using this application once you’ve got a bunch of your friends using the same application. We don’t think that the price range is too steep and it can be afforded by any music fanatic.
Another benefit that subscribers would get is, they can access the online version of Lucky Voice home too, with quite a similar access to all the songs through their personal computers, what an excellent stuff we’ve got here.
The last thing we would like to disclose pertaining this application is that, Lucky Voice is a UK franchise of Karaoke Bars and momentarily, the app has been restricted to only UK Apple App Store, so we’d like to say sorry to all the other people who belong to a different nation.
So U.K users, get this application downloaded on your first and second generation iPads and step into the world of music in a totally unique way.
