The Korean phone makers, LG has reportedly cut off a third of its overseas mobile staff but as a part of broad-based reforms to change the money-losing businesses around. The news which we have shared with you guys has been claimed by LG spokesman who talked with Mobile burn with some clarification. According to this person, the story seems untrue and the Reuters bit was completely based on its early version of a story by the Korea Economic Daily and later it was amended. However, LG does not lay off 30% of its mobility staff but, on the contrary, the Company is said to be improving its mobility unit performance.
Finally, LG’s spokesman reacted to the initial reports, as Reuters reported it as ‘Speculation’ saying that this company did not pass any comments on market rumors.
