Nokia 500 hands-on

The new Nokia 500 has been stereotyped as a very affordable and the same time a colorful feature phone. We found it at the Carphone Warehouse in the UK.
This is another compact sized Symbian Anna handset, sporting a 3.2-inch screen with extremely good color vibrancy with 16:9 formats. The phone comes within 3 included covers that you’ll find in the box. So, swap them and pick the one you like.
The Nokia 500 does give you a solid feel while in hands, the design is very much clearer and clutter free.
It seemed quite responsive to our exploratory pokes, no doubt, we should be thankful to the makers of this phone for integrating in a 1GHZ processor sitting under the hood. The Symbian OS was shining from the display, offering maximum Nokia features such as Ovi Maps etc.
Moreover, you’ll get to see a 5MP camera; although the video recording is something that you may not like but it erupts it out with 15 fps, which is obviously not the greatest but not bad either.
To be true with you guys, this might not be the most exciting phones around and Nokia is not even paying attention upon creating Symbian OS powered hand-sets anymore. But this is an affordable price with good quality features, so you can go for it without a second thought.
