Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements hit version 10

Adobe’s consume photo and video editing websites have been upgraded to version 10, bringing in a number of feature changes, but has retained its existing style and design of the application.
The new features have covered a range of feature updates, but the design is kept unchanged. So, you might get confused that it is the same software that you were using earlier but this is just not the case, for that, you have to dig a little deeper to know more about this latest upgrading.

Photoshop Elements 10 will now be providing you a visual search, making it easier for users to find photos. You’ll be able to search with different criteria and this indeed a helpful feature to be added in any computing software. The pictures with the same tag name can be searched by this new added feature, perhaps showing a similar scene, colors or shapes.

It also allows you to do face-tagging now, which will be integrated with facebook directly, allowing you to bring in your complete friend’s list to the Photoshop Elements to ensure that your friend tags matchup between what you edit and what he has uploaded over the web.

Photoshop Elements 10, as per previous editions, has certainly gained some more sophisticated editing features with cropping guides like rule of thirds and golden ratio.

The Guided Edits feature has been expanded; now you can create depth of field or Orton effects. There is a bunch of new smart brushes and the ability to place text on a path, so you can curve your words round the image, as an example.

In Premier Elements 10, you’ll be seeing color correction options have been enhanced, as well as file sharing and saving. Now sharing has been made easier on Facebook and privacy options for your videos.

Adobe disclosed that the most of the enhancements in Premier Elements were to look under the skin, the company largely aimed at improving the performance and stability of the app as a whole. Windows users will either be using a 64 bit or a 32 bit version, both coming on the same disc with the installer. The Mac users will still be offered 32-bit.

As with its previous editions, Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements will be made available in separate paths or together as a bundle, with discount offerings for those who wish to upgrade. The bundle can be purchased for a price of 120 Euros, individually, if you’re looking for an upgrade then you have to pay 65 pounds for each.
