Apple Pulls OS X 10.7.3 delta upgrade after several crash complaints
It has been normally considered that the updates are a mean of betterment in an OS, providing significant tweaks and performance improvements. But the Latest batch out of Cupertino’s is somewhat just opposite for the Lion 10.7.3 package users; as it caused many applications forced crash as well puzzled the users to restore Time Machine backups.
Apple has responded to it by gathering the standard update from its all servers altogether. However the problem seems to be apparent chiefly for the users who have upgraded their devices with the delta release, those who had used the discrete Combo Update download fared much better. And now the 1.34GB “Mac OS X Updated Combined” appears when someone runs Software Update running on a Mac Lion 10.7.2 or earlier.
Those users who are attempting to download the original release directly are forwarded to the separate page for the combined that apparently features a different build number (11D50b, rather than the original’s 11D50). Those users who are affected haven’t already rolled back to 10.7.2 may desire to try installing the separate Combo Update, but for rest of other it is a better step to wait for now.
