Adobe+Google

Due to a recent partnership between Adobe and Google Linux is going to get a piling helping of Flash. Adobe the pair has been building up a new browser API to work along with Flash, Code title “Pepper” to provide Flash Player 11.2 in Chrome on any x86/64 platform along with Linux.

So from now onwards the Linux users will get new versions of Flash Player directly via the Pepper API in Chrome( as contrary to a download from Adobe), but Adobe assures to provide security updates for five years after its release.

To be clear, while this will keep Flash updated in Chrome, it’s uncertain what this means for other browsers like Firefox.
