Windows Vista support isn’t an everlasting flame, but it’s extending today
Do you remember what we acknowledged you about Windows Vista that it’s getting extended support? Well now a little PSA: that is a new phase initiating today and it’s a bit different from that what was termed as ‘mainstream’ support. You will be getting all of the security updates until April 2017 but as per Microsoft general support policy you will lose certain other benefits. Main in those are warranty claims and no-charge incident support. So after a party is the after-party at least until you are ready for an upgrade party.
