HP Pavilion dm1: an special edition by Alexandre Herchcovitch
This special edition of HP Pavilion dm1 was showed off at a media event in states and we like always we have bring some snaps for you showing the unusual smart device that looks pretty cool. This smart looking laptop is designed by Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch, shipping all the specs that you would expect from a dm1z (AMD Fusion APU, 11.6-inch display, etc.) except the innovative and so unusual design that you must be noticing in the pictures. What might interest you even more than the couture, though, is that this is the first time HP’s let one of its guest laptop designers change the texture on the interior as well. This acts as if even the keycaps have a rough, almost snakeskin-like texture, just like the lid and underbelly. From HP side, they clarify that this will go on sale for $630 exclusively through QVC. This is not that much cheap as the unembellished dm1z starts at just $400 with the same specs, although we were thinking of it to be hardly for $1,800. Let me now widen your smile, as you will also be handed with a matching mouse and faux leather sleeve for whatever that little bit of color coordination is worth.
