Since when Windows 8 was shown for the first time back in June 2011, almost all the users have been complaining about the missing Start Button. However the new Modern UI-style Start Screen is pretty cool and is an innovative feature of its own kind but for the reason that people are not used to of it, they don’t like it much.
At one side a number of users gave a warm welcome to this new innovative UI but most of the folks out there are not fascinated with it much and they feel comfortable with the Windows 7-Style Start Menu and want to disable the Start Screen and get the old Windows 7 Start Menu back.
However in the newly rolled out Windows 8.1 Microsoft has restored the Start button through which you can switch to Start Screen but it does not reveal the Start Menu.
For disabling Windows 8 Start Screen and adding Windows 7-style Start Menu there hundreds of free and paid apps are designed. Millions of users are taking benefit from those apps to have Start Menu on their Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
For the sake of business and interest of users many PC manufacturers have been shipping their Windows 8 computers with their own designed custom Start Menu in it. Like those who have purchased PC from HP would have noticed that their PCs come with pre-installed Windows 8 included with a software named Quick Start that is intended to work as Start Menu.
Those folks who have been using HP PC would have observed that the Quick Start isn’t as intuitive as the Windows 7 Start menu. Better I should say that rest of the free Start Menu software including ViStart, Classic Shell, and IObit Start Menu 8 are much better than HP Quick Start. They look better and offer better features than HP Quick Start.
However HP provides you way to pin programs at right side of Start Menu, and let the user search programs right from the Start menu search box, but may be you want to uninstall it for some reasons. This is because you might be interested in installing the other programs for instance ViStart, Start Menu 8, or Classic Shell that enables the Start Menu and offers better features and look than HP Quick Start.
Uninstalling HP Quick Start is not a difficult task, instead its quiet easy job, what you need is just to look what you need to do. We are providing you the way to uninstall HP Quick Start so that you can easily use any other software to get Start Menu or simply use Windows 8 Start Screen.
