A fresh Samsung smartphone under the model number SGH-T589 has just appeared at the FCC. Not quite a lot of information has been leaked but a little much we can dig out from these FCC pages, besides to the WI-FI association certification it has already received, and the information in Samsung’s UA Profile for the handet.
The FCC official procedure confirms HSPA (whether it could be HSDPA/HSUPA) certification for being operated on the 1700 and 1900MHz network bands, which implies that we could be seeing this one turn up either on T-Mobile in the U.S or one of the Canadian carriers. As for now we made out that it will have standard 2.4GHz WI-FI capabilities, via 802.11 b/g/n, but no 5GHz support.
